Be Your Own Beautiful

Good Morning everybody,
Sunny Sunday up here, gutted we didn't get any thunder or lightening yesterday (shouldn't grumble really). Anyway I've just discovered "Delicious Doodles" digi stamps - I'm in love with them all... so I treated myself to a few and this is the first i coloured up.
It is called "Dragon Dreams"

I have used an old "Basic Grey" design paper and picked out colours from it for my image, which had been coloured with promarkers. I have added a little sparkle here and there. The image and paper have been mounted on some old orange holographic card that I've had stashed away for at least 6 year or more! SHOCK.

I have tried to keep the design fairly clean and simple as I wanted the image to be the main focus of the card. The gorgeous sentiment is by "Pink Petticoat Stamps".The sentiment reads - "Be Your Own Beautiful".

Anyway, this is my favouritest card I've made so far this year.

Thanks for looking.

Birthday Wishes

Good Afternoon,

Hope those of you who have had these awful storms are OK, we have not had anything too bad up here just a little rain so far, feel a bit let down I love thunder and lightening. Anyway have a card to share, it's my other halves birthday on Tuesday (he doesn't view my blog, I'm safe). This is his card and matching tag.

I followed a sketch in this months issue of "Cardmaking and Papercraft" magazine. The name and sentiments were computer generated and the numbers are die cut. All papers are from the same pad it could be a "Prima" one but cannot be sure as I've lost the front cover. The papers and card edges were distressed and then edges with stardust. The numbers have been covered with stardust so they really catch the light.

The image is "Saturated Canary - Genie" and she has been coloured with promarkers and highlighted with stardust. She has then been fussy cut and attached with foam pads for depth. the gems and ribbon are scraps from my stash.

Thank you for looking.

Merry Christmas To You

Good Morning,

I've had Oscar on a 2 hour walk and hung out 2 loads of washing and it's only half 9! love these sunny mornings. Anyway have another Christmas card to share with you.  I have chosen non traditional muted colours for this one.

The design papers are a mixture of "Craft Creations" mounted onto peach card. The beautiful image is by "Pion" and she has been dusted with stardust for winter sparkle.

The Lace and flowers and stems are from "the Ribbon Girls" and the flowers have been dusted with glitter. The image, charm and rose Corner are all from "Live Love Crafts". I have decorated the inside of the card to match and made a box too, the sentiment was computer generated.

Thanks for looking.

70th Birthday Dad

Good Morning everyone,

Well we had a horrible wet and misty day yesterday so I took the opportunity to complete a custom order for an 70th Birthday Dad - Exploding Box Card.

I cannot remember the brand name of the design papers used but they are all from a pad entitled "Up Up and Away". The ribbon is from my local craft shop and the numbers were die cut from gold mirry card.

The sentiment stamps are both "Penny Black" and all other sentiments were computer generated. The bunting was cut with a "La La Crafts" die and the bear in the middle is "James Bear" from "LOTV" coloured with pro-markers and dusted with stardust for birthday sparkle.

All cards and papers have been distressed and edged with clear stardust.

Thank you for looking.
